Giving Back
Why?
At the very core of all I put my time and energy to, is the question “how does this benefit others”.
It’s so important to me, and my family, that we invest some of resources into giving back, paying it forward, providing a hand up… you get what I mean.
Living in Australia and working alongside my husband, both in full-time capacities, we discover that we are in the richest 1% of the global population. If we give 10% of our income away, we still remain in that bracket - this is mind blowing!
A long time ago I learned that “to those who are given much, much is expected” (Luke 12:48) and this inspires me to partner with organisations making a difference in our world.
FLAME CAMBODIA
By partnering with FLAME CAMBODIA, I am able to provide a UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP that aims to:
Fan potential into flame,
Gifts into flame,
Confidence into flame,
and children of the urban poor into educated university students with a passion and a dream for their futures.
This excites me!
AROHA PROJECT
I am super excited to partner with Aroha to provide a university scholarship for Sophor, and help him achieve his dream of becoming an architect.
With a goal to improve the education, business literacy and employability of young people in Cambodia, it makes perfect sense to make this investment into the future of a young person today.
