All the Details…

Are you looking for someone who is calm, approachable and has an eye for detail, our world’s may have just collided?

When we get an opportunity to meet, I will learn all about you, your story and your dreams for your big day.

We will discuss ideas to make your ceremony truly memorable. I’ll guide you through the legal paperwork, ceremony choreography and vow writing. I’m able to give you suggestions for music, readings and little extra’s to make your day that little bit special, if needed.

Together we will create a unique ceremony, and your wedding day will be one of the most significant, memorable and special days of your entire life.

How many meetings do we have?

At least three! Definitely an initial meeting where we meet over a G&T or coffee, or Zoom if you prefer, and make sure we’re a good fit for each other. Then we get the paperwork started. We’ll plan our second meeting and complete the legal paperwork (NOIM), and start planning your ceremony. We then exchange emails and phone calls until we get your ceremony exactly as you’d hoped for. We can also meet up again between this point and the rehearsal if that will help you.

Our final meeting before the big day, is the wedding rehearsal, the week of your wedding. Ideally a couple of days prior to the big day.

Do you provide a PA system?

I sure do - you don’t need to worry about your friends and family hearing your vows. You can also use my MiPro PA system for playing your ceremony music.

Some of your questions answered…

How do we know the wedding will be legal?

Having completed my Certificate IV in Celebrancy, and received my registration from the Attorney-General’s Department, Australian Government, I am authorised to marry couples as a Commonwealth Registered Celebrant.

To ensure you are legally married according to the law of Australia, there are a few things we must do together.

NOIM - Notice of Intended Marriage must be completed and submitted to me at least one month prior to your wedding ceremony, and no more that eighteen months before your wedding ceremony.

Identification - you will need to show me proof of your birth date and place of birth. Your birth certificate or passport are ideal forms of ID for this. You’ll also need to show me a second form of ID, a drivers license, passport or Australian Citizenship certificate would be ideal here.

Been married before - you’ll just need to show me the divorce paper or death certificate of your previous partner.

Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage - this is a form we will complete before the ceremony, usually at your rehearsal. By completing this form you are declaring that there is no legal reason why you should not be married to each other.

The Monitum - during your ceremony I must quote ‘The Monitum’

Witnesses - Your two witnesses must be over the age of eighteen, and not under the influence of alcohol or substances.

Lodgement of paperwork - After your ceremony I will lodge the required paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages within 14 days of your ceremony.

That my friends,
ensures you are legally married, according to the law of Australia.
