Honouring Your Faith with a Heartfelt Christian Wedding Ceremony in Perth
Your wedding ceremony is a sacred moment, a joyful celebration of God's faithfulness and the beginning of your marriage together.
I'll help you create a ceremony that honours your Christian faith, reflects your unique love story and feels genuine, welcoming and deeply personal.
A Ceremony That Honours Your Faith, and Feels Like You
For many Christian couples, finding the right celebrant can feel like a balancing act.
You want a ceremony that honours God, reflects your faith and includes the prayers, Scriptures and traditions that are important to you.
But you also want it to feel warm, joyful and personal.
Whether you are celebrating in a church, a private chapel, a vineyard, by the coast or beneath the trees of Kings Park, your ceremony can be both deeply meaningful and unmistakably yours.
My role is to help you create a ceremony that reflects the significance of Christian marriage while sharing your unique love story with warmth, authenticity and genuine joy.
Together, we will create a ceremony that feels true to your faith, celebrates the people you love and marks the beginning of your marriage in a way you will remember for years to come.
Christian Wedding Ceremonies, Created With Care
Marriage is one of life's most sacred commitments.
It is a covenant made before God, witnessed by your family and friends, and the beginning of a lifetime spent loving and serving one another.
Whether your ceremony is deeply traditional or reflects a more contemporary expression of your faith, we'll create something that feels respectful, heartfelt and authentic to who you are.
Together we can include:
Scripture & Readings: Meaningful Bible passages such as 1 Corinthians 13, Ecclesiastes 4:9–12, or your own favourite Scriptures.
Prayers & Blessings: Traditional prayers, blessings, family prayers or a prayer written especially for your marriage.
Sharing Your Story: A beautifully written retelling of your journey together, celebrating your relationship, the faith you share and the life you are building together.
Unity Traditions: Including a Three-Strand Cord Ceremony, Unity Candle, Communion, private prayer, foot washing, or other meaningful Christian traditions.
Honouring Those You Love: Acknowledging parents, grandparents, children, mentors and your church community in ways that feel natural and sincere.
Every Christian Wedding Is Different
No two couples express their faith in exactly the same way.
Some dream of a traditional ceremony including, Scripture, or familiar hymns.
Others prefer a contemporary celebration with worship music, personal vows and a relaxed atmosphere.
Some want a simple prayer woven gently throughout the ceremony.
Others would love their pastor, minister or a family member to share a reading, blessing or message.
Whatever your vision, my role is never to fit you into a template.
It's to create a ceremony that reflects your relationship, honours your faith and feels completely authentic to who you are.
"You're safe here, I understand your faith.
I know church culture.
I know how to create a ceremony that honours God while still feeling beautifully personal."

Along the way, I'll guide you through every legal requirement, help shape your ceremony, coordinate the finer details and ensure everything flows smoothly on the day—so you can simply be present and focus on the promises you're making to one another.

Absolutely!
I was born into the Baptist church tradition and attended Mount Hawthorn Baptist Church with my family until 26 years of age.
Together with my family we moved to Claremont Baptist Church, and it was here that I founded SportsFest in 1998 with a couple of close friends.
In early 2000 my future husband returned to his childhood church and we started hanging out after playing in the worship team together - he on Bass, me on keys!
In 2003 Iain and I married at Claremont Baptist Church, and after the birth of our daughter in 2005, and son in 2008, moved our family closer to home and began attending Westcity Church in Wembley for a few years.
In 2012 I took up a position at Riverview Church in Burswood, and so our family began attending there until 2022.
Since 2022, our family have attended Nations Church in Myaree WA.
Having attended Swan Christian College for my high school years, and never knowing anything but a Christian heritage, I’ve been blessed to always know life with Jesus at the centre of it all.
My defining moment would have to be during my high school years where I discovered a personal relationship with Jesus and deepening of my faith. -

Your ceremony can include as much or as little Christian content as you would like. Whether it's a favourite Scripture, a traditional blessing, the Lord's Prayer, or a prayer written especially for your marriage, we'll thoughtfully weave these elements throughout your ceremony in a way that feels natural and meaningful.
-
Absolutely. One of the things I love most about creating Christian wedding ceremonies is finding the right balance between honouring your faith and warmly welcoming everyone who has come to celebrate with you. Your ceremony can remain deeply meaningful and centred on your beliefs while still feeling engaging, inclusive and accessible for every guest present.

Yes, I'd be delighted to work alongside your pastor, minister or church leader. Whether they would like to offer a prayer, read Scripture, share a message or pronounce a blessing over your marriage, I'm happy to collaborate to ensure your ceremony reflects your faith and flows beautifully.

Most definitely. Many couples choose to exchange personal vows alongside the legal marriage vows required under Australian law.
Your personal vows are a wonderful opportunity to express your love, your promises and your hopes for the future in your own words.
I will even print them on elegant cards for you to read on the day so you don't have to worry about memorising a thing.
-
Of course. Many couples choose to include worship music before the ceremony, during the signing of the marriage documents or as they walk back down the aisle together. Whether you have musicians performing live or a carefully chosen playlist, we'll work together to create a ceremony that reflects your faith and your style.
-
Absolutely. Many Christian couples choose to include symbolic traditions such as a Three-Strand Cord Ceremony, Unity Candle, Communion, a private prayer together or another meaningful faith tradition. If there's something special you'd like to include, we'll design your ceremony around what is most meaningful to you, ensuring every element feels intentional and personal.

Yes. While I am based centrally in Perth, I regularly travel to service stunning locations all across WA—from the historic chapels and lawns of the Swan Valley, up to the hills of Darlington, along the WA coastline, and down to private estates in the South West.
